Facility:
This regional medical center provides comprehensive women's health services to the Clinton community and surrounding areas. The facility features labor and delivery services with 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum beds, supported by 24/7 hospitalist staff, anesthesiology, and radiology services.
Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• 24-hour call coverage from Monday, March 23rd 8A - Friday, March 27th 8A • Round on patients, on-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries • Available for emergent GYN procedures • Manage approximately 27 deliveries monthly with average of 11 C-Sections • Census typically 1-3 deliveries per 24-hour period • Perform routine vaginal deliveries and complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions • Handle VBAC deliveries and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations • Perform OB ultrasounds (Level I and II screening preferred) • Provide office/minor gynecology services (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.) • Conduct surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures • Must have active NC license with NC address and NC DEA • Must be enrolled with PECOS and have NC Medicaid credential • Board certification required with laser certification • Must be fully vaccinated • Must be actively delivering babies (case logs for past 24 months required) • Accommodations provided in hospital apartments adjacent to facility • Must remain within 20 minutes of facility per hospital bylaws • High risk deliveries are emergent only (no NICU at facility) with transfers to nearby facilities as needed

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
