This regional medical center is part of a well-established healthcare system providing comprehensive women's health services to the community. The facility features a 205-bed hospital with 34 beds dedicated to Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Triage, ensuring quality care for patients throughout the region.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Hospital-based practice with 90% focus on Labor and Delivery • Coverage needs: 2 providers to help support at least once a month • Specific coverage dates: March 13, 14, and 15, 2026 • Call schedule: Two weekends a month (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) • Current call ratio: 1:4 with four physicians in the practice • 1 APP per 12-hour shift provides additional coverage • Practice consists of 60% low-risk pregnancy, 40% high-risk pregnancy, and 60% gynecology • Average of five GYN surgeries per day with Level II nursery • Documentation system: EPIC EMR • Required OB procedures include low and high-risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation, and ultrasound performance/interpretation • Labor and delivery procedures include routine vaginal deliveries, C-sections, breech deliveries, multiple births, and repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations • Gynecology procedures include open and laparoscopic surgeries, tubal ligations, and other operative procedures • Must be board certified in OB/GYN with Ohio license (or willing to obtain) • BLS, ACLS, active DEA, and clean malpractice history required • Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is mandatory • Credentialing timeframe: 30-90 days • Facility reimburses for flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage (standard IRS rate) • Travel caps: $150/night lodging, standard/economy bookings
