Facility:
This is a busy women's health clinic that provides comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services to the Richland community. The facility is part of a well-established healthcare network with a Level 2 trauma designation, featuring a collaborative practice environment that includes 5 midwives who support the MD providers on Labor & Delivery.
Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Coverage for in-house 24-hour call shifts on a long-term ongoing basis • Specific dates needed in March, April, May, June, and July 2023 • High acuity practice with approximately 25 patient encounters per shift • Handle emergent cases coming through the Emergency Department • Perform various procedures including hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy management, D&C, ovarian cystectomy, hysteroscopy, IUD insertions, abscess treatment, post-hysterectomy complications, and exploratory laparotomy • Manage low and high-risk pregnancies • Perform FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) • Conduct OB ultrasounds with preference for Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted interpretation • Handle routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps • Make decisions regarding c-section necessity • Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs • Perform repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations • Surgical gynecology skills preferred (open and laparoscopic procedures) • Board certification required with current BLS certification • Must have Washington state license or IMLC • Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90-120 days

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
