Facility in Jacksonville, FL seeking ObGyn locums coverage

Rates: $$2800/day inclusive of all hours.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Start Date: March 16, 2026.

  • Schedule: 24-hour in-house call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM).

    • Note: The facility is open to providers interested in a string of consecutive 24-hour shifts.

  • Supportive Environment: Work alongside CNMs who are surgical first-assist trained and managed via a collaborative OB/CNM practice model.

  • Work-Life Balance: Manageable call shifts with back-up coverage and more days off than a typical private practice.

Clinical Setting & Scope

  • Unit Details: 6 LDRP rooms, 12 postpartum rooms, and 2 dedicated C-section surgical suites.

  • NICU: Level I NICU with 24/7 anesthesia coverage.

  • Volume: Average of 80 deliveries per month.

  • Comprehensive Support: Access to LCSWs, lactation consultants, educators, and a national practice network for operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope obstetrical and gynecological care.

  • Manage labor and delivery, including surgical interventions (C-sections) as needed.

  • Collaborate with CNM hospitalists, providing backup call and surgical assistance.

  • Participate in a holistic approach to care that values shared decision-making and patient preferences.

  • Engage with innovative tech platforms to streamline operations and patient engagement.

Qualifications

  • Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Experience: At least one year of experience is preferred.

  • Licensure: Active Florida Medical License (Required).

    • Candidates with an active IMLC (compact) license will be considered.

  • Certifications: Active DEA license.

  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care.
