Hospital is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN for outpatient-only locum coverage in Santa Cruz, CA. This is a full-time clinic assignment for an initial 3-month term, with the opportunity to start as soon as credentialed. Bilingual providers are strongly preferred, and candidates should have recent laborist experience in addition to clinic work.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage 15–20 patients per day
• Provide prenatal and routine gynecologic care
• Collaborate with experienced RN and ultrasound staff
• Document all encounters in Cerner EMR
Qualifications
• ACGME-accredited residency required
• Active California medical license
• DEA, BLS, ACLS required
• Recent/current laborist experience required
• Clinic experience strongly preferred
• Clean malpractice history
• NPDB self-query (within 30 days) required
• Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
• Local Bay Area candidates preferred
Working Hours
• 1-hour lunch break daily
• Full-time: 5 days per week
• Start: As soon as credentialed (estimated 60–90 days)
• Initial duration: 3 months
