This women's clinic is part of a well-established healthcare system providing comprehensive women's health services to the community. The facility includes both clinic and hospital settings, offering integrated care with strong support staff including medical assistants and registered nurses in both environments.
Opportunity:
Physician Assistant (PA) - OB/GYN
Job Details:
• Position for experienced PA midwife with hospital experience to provide backup call and see patients in clinic • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p with weeknight call and 24-hour weekend call 1 week per month • Approximately 10 shifts per month with immediate start date available • Perform IUD/Nexplanon insertion and removal procedures • Provide prenatal care including routine OB checks and management of normal pregnancies • Conduct natural deliveries and emergency deliveries, in collaboration with the on-call physician • Deliver postpartum care and patient education • Provide routine reproductive health care, including pelvic exams and Pap tests • Offer birth control counseling and contraceptive management • Serve female patients of all ages with full-scope women's health services (excluding endoscopic procedures) • Assist with C-Sections with OBGYN • Work with Meditech EMR on hospital side, Centricity on birth center, and eClinical in clinic • Must have experience working as midwife in hospital setting (no new grads or home birth only midwives) • Board Certification required • Active Oregon license required • Must maintain BLS, DEA, ACLS, and NPR certifications • Self-Query NPDB report required at time of presentation (dated within 30 days)
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
