This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility providing comprehensive women's health services to the Enterprise community. The facility features a 9-bed department with full nursing and OR support teams, 24/7 anesthesia and radiologist coverage, and pediatric hospitalist support, ensuring excellent patient care and professional collaboration.
Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Provide clinic coverage Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and 24-hour hospital call • Manage approximately 15 patients per day with a mix of OB and GYN cases • Work with NP support managing GYN and low-acuity OB patients • Utilize Athena EHR in clinic with onsite clinical informatics support during orientation • Access 11 exam rooms, 2 ultrasound rooms, and 1 dedicated procedure room • Perform in-office procedures including colposcopy, LEEP, hysteroscopy, IUD/Nexplanon insertion • Respond to beeper calls with 30-minute response time for hospital coverage • Handle an average of 1-2 deliveries per day • Perform scheduled and emergent C-sections and GYN surgeries with dedicated OR block time • Manage both low and high-risk pregnancies • Perform routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, cesarean sections, breech, and multiple births • Conduct FHR interpretation and OB ultrasounds (Level I and Level II) • Perform amniocentesis procedures and repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations • Handle VBAC deliveries and pregnancy complications including abruptions • Provide surgical gynecology services including open and laparoscopic procedures • Must maintain active Alabama medical license or IMLC • Board certification eligible with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications • Credentialing timeframe approximately 45 days • Scheduling flexibility options available, including weekday clinic and call only, weekend call, or full 24/7 schedule

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
