Facility:
This medical center is a well-established healthcare facility serving the Enterprise community and surrounding areas. The facility features a 9-bed department with comprehensive women's health services, 24/7 anesthesia and radiologist coverage, and full nursing and OR support teams.
Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Weekend 24-hour call coverage, Friday 7:00 am through Monday 7:00 am • Inpatient/emergent OB/GYN call responsibilities with beeper call and 30-minute response time • Average 1-2 deliveries per day with 3-4 patient encounters per shift • Required to perform emergent C-sections and GYN surgeries • Hospital EHR: Medhost with full nursing and OR support teams • Pediatric hospitalist support provided • Scheduling flexibility - can take weekend call only or expand to include weekday call and clinic responsibilities • Full 24/7 schedule option available • Manage both low and high risk pregnancies • Perform FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) • Conduct OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted • Perform amniocentesis procedures • Handle routine deliveries (vaginal and low forceps) with decision-making for c-section • Manage complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions • Perform VBACs and repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations • Provide office/minor gynecology services (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.) • Perform surgical gynecology procedures (open and laparoscopic) • Must be board eligible with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications • AL license or IMLC required with estimated 45-day credentialing timeframe
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
