The Opportunity
We are seeking an OB/GYN to join a dynamic, growing practice in Orange City, Florida, in partnership with AdventHealth Fish Memorial Hospital. This is a high-quality, well-supported practice with manageable volumes, advanced technology, and a strong midwifery collaboration model.
Practice Highlights
- Partner hospital averages ~900 deliveries annually
- OBs see approximately 25 patients per day
- Practice is growing with strong community demand
- Call is taken from home via beeper call
- Remote nursing team supports inbox management
- On-site surgical robot at the hospital
- Hospital uses Epic EHR; clinic uses Athena; Ambience AI for scribing
Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care
- Perform gynecologic surgery in office and hospital settings
- Participate in a collaborative OB/CNM care model with CNM hospitalists
- Manage call responsibilities as part of a shared rotation
- Collaborate across clinical and support teams to deliver excellent patient experiences
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Schedule
- 1:4 call rotation with CNM support (call can be paired with clinic days)
- 2.5 clinic days + 1 surgery day per week
- Outpatient clinic located on the AdventHealth campus
Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active DEA license
- Eligible for licensure upon start date
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative OB/CNM practice model
