Location: Santa Rosa, CA - San Francisco 50m
Coverage Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Assignment/Call Details:
Schedule:
* Clinic: 3.5 patient-facing days per week (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
* OR: 1 dedicated OR day per week
* Call Type: Beeper
* Call Coverage: Assigned and unassigned patients
* Call Response Time: 30 minutes
* Call Requirement: ~5 days per month
* Practice Setting: Inpatient obstetrics with clinic-based gynecology
* Patients per Shift: ~16
* Admissions Required: No
* Support Staff: 1 RN, 6 MAs, 4 APPs, 2 office staff
* Privileges Required: No
* Temporary Privileges: Not available
* EMR: Epic
* Trauma Level: 1
* Credentialing Timeframe: ~60 days

Clinical Details:
* Full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology
* Mix of clinic, OR, and hospital-based OB care
* Dedicated OR time built into weekly schedule
* APP support in both inpatient and outpatient settings
* Permanent role within a high-acuity obstetrical program

Skills Required:
* Low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management
* FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)
* OB ultrasound performance & interpretation: Level I / Screening (viability) and Level II / Targeted (anatomic)
* Routine deliveries: Vaginal, Low forceps and C-section decision-making
* Complicated deliveries: C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions and VBACs
* Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
* Office gynecology procedures:UD insertion/removal, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP, Nexplanon insertion and Pessary fitting
* Surgical gynecology: Open procedures, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA, chromal tubation) and Major operative procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA)

Requirements:
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
* Active California license or application in progress
* Willingness to begin CA licensure immediately if not active
* Clean malpractice and background history
* Supervision of APPs required
* No resident or teaching duties
