What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive optical and medical eye examinations
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions and diseases
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments as needed
- Fit contact lenses and recommend eyewear products
- Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive care
- Collaborate with staff to ensure excellent patient service
- Stay current with the latest optometry developments and techniques
What You Need
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Active Alabama State Optometry License (candidates in process are encouraged to apply)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
