Job Title: OB-GYN Hospitalist (MD/DO)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated OB-GYN Hospitalist to provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care. The OB-GYN Hospitalist will manage high-risk and routine cases, collaborating closely with hospital staff, obstetricians, and other specialists to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including labor and delivery management, postpartum care, and gynecologic procedures.

  • Evaluate and manage patients with obstetric complications, high-risk pregnancies, and gynecologic emergencies.

  • Perform deliveries, including cesarean sections and operative vaginal deliveries, as required.

  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies in a timely manner.

  • Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, safety protocols, and continuing education.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.

  • Completion of an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment.

  • Strong clinical judgment, procedural skills, and ability to manage acute inpatient OB-GYN cases.

Work Environment:

  • Inpatient hospital setting, including labor and delivery units, postpartum, and gynecologic floors.

  • Collaborative team environment with opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
