Facility:
This well-established community hospital features a respected OB/GYN practice offering full-spectrum women's health care. The facility boasts three new operating rooms, a progressive birth center with diverse birthing options, and maintains a collaborative, physician-respected environment with low staff turnover and strong administrative support.
Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Provide full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology care to a diverse community patient population • Manage gynecologic consults referred from surrounding primary care providers and in-house midwives • Perform a variety of office-based gynecologic procedures • Maintain a steady surgical volume with access to three new operating rooms • Participate in minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgeries • Work 3-4 clinic days per week, seeing approximately 12-14 patients per day • Utilize an average of three dedicated OR days per month • Provide physician backup for midwife-led obstetric care, including uncomplicated deliveries • Participate in manageable home call shared among physicians (1 in 4 rotation) • Support a birth center offering VBACs, water birth, nitrous oxide, and 24-hour epidural services • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, and medical assistants • Practice evidence-based OB/GYN care in a state with constitutional protection of reproductive rights • Engage in a long-standing, stable practice with very low staff and physician turnover • Salary range $280,000-$360,000 annually based on experience and internal equity • Comprehensive benefits including medical insurance, generous vacation/holiday pay, CME allowance, and pension plan • Potential student loan repayment through the State of Vermont • Flexible scheduling supporting work-life balance
