This medical center provides comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to the surrounding community. The facility features an 8-bed Labor & Delivery department with Level 2 trauma capabilities and Level 2 pediatric services, ensuring quality care for mothers and newborns alike.
Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Urgent need for December 25 @7am through December 29 @7am
• Manage 5-10 patient encounters per shift in Labor & Delivery department
• Must have active DEA and North Carolina medical license
• Board Certification required with ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Handle both low and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
• Conduct OB Ultrasounds - Level I/Screening (viability)
• Manage routine vaginal deliveries including low forceps
• Decision-making for c-section as required
• Handle complicated deliveries including C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Perform repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Conduct office/minor gynecology procedures - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
• Provide surgical gynecology services - both open and laparoscopic procedures
• Perform operative/major procedures including treatment of ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• Expedited credentialing available
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
