Balance Family & Career with a Shift-Based Laborist Schedule in Upstate NY

• A leading regional health system is seeking a full-time OB/GYN physician to join its established and highly respected women’s health team. The OB/GYN specialists provide comprehensive services, caring for patients with both normal and high-risk pregnancies, as well as a full range of gynecologic and women’s health needs.
• The OB/GYN program is robust, averaging approximately 3,700 deliveries per year. The comprehensive care team includes Midwifery, OB/GYN, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Level III NICU services.
• The system is seeking a physician to serve in a Laborist role at a 442-bed community hospital. This position is exclusively inpatient, focusing on managing laboring patients and overseeing both routine and complex deliveries—including cesarean sections. The schedule is shift-based, consisting of three 15-hour shifts per week.
• Applicants should have the following:
• Board Certified/Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology;
• Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented;
• Ability to triage, evaluate, supervise and provide care for both routine and high-risk deliveries with support from Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE:

• Annual salary of $325,000
