Facility:
This facility is a well-established hospital providing comprehensive women's health services to the San Antonio community. As a Level 3 trauma center, the facility offers advanced obstetrical and gynecological care with strong clinical support and modern medical technologies.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• URGENT NEED starting 12/8/2025-01/01/2026 with potential to extend 3-6 months consistently
• Clinic hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with night call Mon-Friday and 24-hour call on weekends
• Hospital call coverage approximately 7-10 days per month
• Clean malpractice history required for emergency privileges
• Active Texas medical license required (providers with active Baptist privileges preferred)
• Handle 25-30 patient encounters per shift
• Manage both low and high risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
• Conduct OB ultrasounds with both Level I (required) and Level II (preferred) capabilities
• Perform routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries
• Decision-making for c-sections required
• Preferred skills include complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs)
• Perform office/minor gynecology procedures (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
• Preferred surgical gynecology skills for both open and laparoscopic procedures
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 90-day estimated credentialing timeframe
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
