This medical center is a Level 3 trauma facility providing comprehensive women's healthcare services to the community. The hospital offers strong provider support and modern facilities to ensure excellent patient care in a collaborative environment.
Opportunity:
Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Urgent OB-GYN call coverage needed for December and January (Dec 27 6am-Jan 5 6am and Jan 13 6am-Jan 18 6am)
• 24-hour call coverage (6am-6am) with 30-minute in-person response time when needed
• Active California medical license required
• Miscarriage management experience required
• Management of low and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
• OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I/Screening)
• Conduct routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps) and complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs)
• Decision-making for C-sections
• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
• Provide office/minor gynecology services (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
• Perform surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
