We are seeking Board-Certified OB/GYN Physicians to provide in-hospital Labor & Delivery and OB/GYN emergency coverage at multiple sites. This is a locum-only, inpatient-focused role with flexible scheduling and ongoing shift availability.

Position Highlights

  • 24-hour call or in-house shifts (varies by site)

  • 100% hospital-based: L&D, OB triage, emergency GYN, inpatient care

  • Deliveries, C-sections, operative vaginal deliveries, VBAC management

  • Mix of low- and high-risk obstetrics

  • Collaborative environment with OBs, CNMs, APPs & experienced L&D staff

  • Access to on-site ultrasound, labs & modern L&D units

  • EMR: Epic (primarily)

Requirements

  • Board Certified OB/GYN

  • Active state license or IMLC eligible

  • ACLS & NRP

  • Ability to perform C-sections and OB/GYN emergency procedures

  • Recent inpatient OB experience

  • Clean background for temp/emergency privileges

Job Responsibilities

In-house coverage for Labor & Delivery, OB emergency response, and inpatient GYN consults

Evaluate and manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancies

Perform vaginal deliveries, operative deliveries (low forceps, vacuum), and C-sections

Manage complex OB cases, including VBACs, multiple gestations, abruptions, and hypertensive disorders

OB triage assessments, NST/CST interpretation, and fetal monitoring

Perform or assist with OB/GYN-related procedures, emergent GYN surgeries, and postpartum care

Communicate with community providers to ensure continuity, quality, and safe transitions of care

Utilize EPIC or other modern EMR systems to complete documentation

Qualifications

Requirements

Board Certified OB/GYN

Active state license or IMLC eligible

ACLS & NRP

Ability to perform C-sections and OB/GYN emergency procedures

Recent inpatient OB experience

Clean background for temp/emergency privileges
