Facility:
This established hospital is part of a respected healthcare system providing comprehensive women's health services to the San Antonio community. The facility features a Level 3 trauma center with strong provider support and modern medical technologies to ensure excellent patient care.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• 3-6 month consistent coverage starting January, with potential for 6-month engagement
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8am-5pm for OBGYN clinical services
• OBGYN hospital call coverage approximately 7-10 days per month
• Handle 25-30 patient encounters per shift
• Manage both low and high-risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Conduct OB ultrasounds with performance and interpretation capabilities (Level I required, Level II preferred)
• Provide routine vaginal deliveries, low forceps deliveries, and decision-making for c-sections
• Preferred skills include complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs)
• Perform office/minor gynecology procedures including IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
• Preferred abilities in surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Must have active Texas medical license
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
