Board Certification - OBGYN Laborist
Job Details:
• Work as an OBGYN Laborist specializing in caring for women in labor and delivering babies • Provide on-site hospital coverage, devoting full attention to women arriving in labor • Manage the obstetric unit, participating in labor management and obstetric triage • Support maternal fetal medicine service and provide consultation to midwifery and Family Medicine services • Perform and assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries • Provide triage services for obstetric patients presenting with urgent or emergent conditions • Work collaboratively with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals • Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing updates and education • Deliver compassionate, appropriate and effective patient care • Demonstrate professionalism, ethical principles, and sensitivity to diverse patient populations • Attend scheduled departmental meetings and participate on assigned committees • Maintain appropriate medical licensure, board certification, and DEA license • Demonstrate knowledge of hospital policies, practices, protocols and applicable regulations • Per Diem work schedule as scheduled • Maintain excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and electronic)
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
