Western Illinois, OB Hospitalist Job

• Employs approximately 77 physicians and 75 APPs across 35 medical specialties

• Includes hospital, main clinic, and 14 satellite facilities throughout the service area

• Position: OB Hospitalist

• Board Certified / Board Eligible OB/GYN – required

• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off

• Call Type: On-call only – not required to remain in-house overnight

• Call Hours:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Friday–Monday: Noon Friday – 7:00 AM Monday

Time Off: 2 weeks vacation + 1 week CME (total 23 working weeks / 161 shifts annually)

Duties: All typical responsibilities of an OB Hospitalist

Annual Births: Approximately 550

Nursery Level: Level II

Staffing Model:

2 OB Hospitalists

3 clinic-based OB/GYN physicians

4 CNMs/Women’s Health APPs
