A full-time opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist to join a 24/7 in-house hospitalist team providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a leading Regional Perinatal Center in Silicon Valley. The role involves collaboration with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists and access to a Level III NICU for advanced perinatal support.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage labor and delivery patients and assist in surgical procedures as needed.
• Monitor fetal well-being and provide emergency room coverage for OB-GYN patients.
• Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine and neonatology teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing quality, safety, and education initiatives.
Qualifications
• Active California medical license or willingness to obtain.
• DEA certification required prior to start.
• Minimum 2–3 years of OB Hospitalist experience preferred.
• Clean malpractice and licensure record highly preferred.
• Must reside locally or be willing to relocate to San Jose, CA.
Working Hours
• Weekend and holiday coverage included as part of rotating schedule.
• No on-call responsibilities outside scheduled shifts.
Skills
• Skilled in surgical assistance and postoperative care.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary perinatal teams.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation and patient communication.
