Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in good standing
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Experience in outpatient clinic care and hospital-based OB-GYN services
- Ability to perform both scheduled clinic work and emergency call coverage
- Proficiency in fetal monitoring and ultrasound interpretation
- Certification in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in a hospital-based obstetrics setting
- Experience working with NP’s in an OB-GYN environment
- Knowledge of advanced fetal monitoring techniques
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual abilities competitive but not required
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology
- Prior experience with weekend and overnight call rotations preferred
Other Requirements:
- Must have current PALS and fetal monitoring certifications
- Consideration given to IMLC providers with Quality Letter on hand
- No Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) at hospital; NP’s assist in practice
- Willingness to work clinic four days weekly, with overnight and weekend call in rotation
- Reliable for scheduled shifts and on-call duties
