OB/GYN Physician - Flexible Schedule Options
- Northern Maine medical center, a regional tertiary care center and ACS-verified Level II trauma center, is actively seeking an additional board-certified/board-eligible full-time OB/GYN to join their well-established, hospital-employed practice. New graduates and those seeking visa sponsorship are encouraged to apply. Part-time and per diem opportunities also available.
The role:
- Work alongside 8 physicians, 2 certified nurse midwives, 2 nurse practitioners, and skilled support staff
- Provide routine and high-risk obstetric and gynecologic services to a patient population of approximately 500,000. We are the referral center for two-thirds of Maine and many patients travel long distances to deliver at our hospital.
- Strongly supported robotic surgery program with four DaVinci Xi robots
- The group performs approximately 1,100 of the 1,600 deliveries per year
- 24-hour access to Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation via phone with on-site MFM ultrasound department and 9 full-time sonographers.
- On-site Anesthesia and Level III NICU
- Their team provides consultation services for the Family Medicine residency program, and they have rotating medical students.
