- A hospital in California is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician to join as a Hospitalist.
- The role focuses on inpatient obstetric care in a Level 2 NICU setting, averaging 4–5 deliveries per 24-hour shift.
- Physicians will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team using EPIC EMR, with no on-call duties.
Job Responsibilities
Manage an average of 13–14 patients per day across rounds, inpatient, and clinic settings.
Ensure timely labor and delivery management, including high-risk cases.
Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR.
Collaborate with NICU, nursing staff, and other specialties to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Qualifications
Active California medical license or in-progress application – Required
BLS, ACLS, and DEA certification – Required
COVID-19 vaccination – Required
1–5 years of experience in hospitalist or similar settings – Preferred
Visa sponsorship available (J1/H1B accepted)
Working Hours
5–6 shifts per month, including weekends
No on-call required
Skills
Strong patient management in obstetric emergencies
Effective teamwork in a multidisciplinary hospital environment
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
