Seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN for locum coverage in Steamboat Springs, CO. Enjoy a mix of clinic and hospital work in a supportive and well-equipped environment. Beautiful mountain town, flexible scheduling, and full travel/lodging support make this a high-demand role!

🗓️ Schedule:

• Clinic: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (4 clinic days per week)

• Call: ~8 call shifts/month (1:4 call rotation)

• Call Options: No 24-hour in-house required

• Call Back Rate: ~80% OB | ~20% GYN

🏥 Practice Details:

• Practice Type: Full-spectrum OB/GYN

• Patient Mix: 50% Low-Risk | 50% High-Risk Pregnancies

• Clinic Volume: 15–20 patients/day

• Deliveries: ~6/week per physician

• Supervision: Collaborative with 2 CNMs (no direct oversight required)

• Staff: 3 OB/GYNs, 2 mid-levels, RNs in clinic, virtual MFM support

• EMR: Epic

🛠️ Required Procedures:

Obstetrics:

• Routine & complex deliveries (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiples)

• Fetal heart rate interpretation

• Level I OB ultrasound interpretation

• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Gynecology:

• Office/minor: IUDs, colposcopy, LEEP, cystoscopy, cryosurgery

• Surgical: Diagnostic & operative laparoscopy, ectopic pregnancy, cystectomy, etc.

🏥 Hospital Resources:

• 39-bed hospital | Level III Trauma

• 4 ICU beds

• Level II Nursery (with transfer protocols)

• Onsite ultrasound & lab

• 13 exam rooms

• No teaching responsibilities
