**Opportunity:**
Board Certification - OBGYN Laborist
**Job Details:**
• Work as an OBGYN Laborist specializing in caring for women in labor and delivering babies • Manage the obstetric unit, participate in labor management, obstetric triage and support maternal fetal medicine services • Provide comprehensive care for women in labor, including monitoring progress and managing deliveries • Perform and assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries • Provide triage services for obstetric patients presenting with urgent or emergent conditions • Work closely with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care • Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing updates and education • Deliver compassionate, appropriate and effective treatment for health problems • Demonstrate professionalism through commitment to responsibilities and ethical principles • Part-time position requiring 5 shifts per month • Must have Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) • Requires Medical License and Board Certification upon hire • DEA License required upon hire • Must have knowledge of hospital policies, practices, protocols and applicable regulations • Computer systems proficiency required • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills required
**Compensation:**
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
