Seeking an OB/GYN for an outpatient locum opportunity in the Rancho Mission Viejo, CA area.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
- Coverage Need: Maternity leave (minimum 3 months) with potential extension
- Schedule: 4 days/week preferred, can accommodate 5 days/week if needed
- Clinic hours: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM & 1:00 PM–5:00 PM
- No call, no inpatient responsibilities; 100% outpatient
- LOCALS strongly preferred
- Locums-to-perm option available
- Common Procedures/Case Types: Abscess or cyst drainage/aspiration, Breast and pelvic exams, Cervical biopsies, colposcopy, Chemical/electrocautery of lesions, Cystoscopy, hysteroscopy, Endometrial ablation and biopsies, Epidermal cyst removal (Bartholin’s Gland), Focused abdominal/transvaginal ultrasounds, Hormone replacement therapy, IUD and subdermal contraceptive insertions/removals, Pap tests, well-woman exams. LEEP, IV insertion, subcutaneous anesthesia
- CA licensed (or in process)
- Comfortable with full scope of listed outpatient GYN procedures
- Available for at least 3-month assignment
- Interested in locums-to-perm transition (optional)
- Well-supported office with standard OB/GYN resources
- Rate: 150/hr, malpractice and mileage covered
