Location: Winchester, KY
Winchester, Kentucky offers a charming small-town atmosphere with beautiful rolling hills of the Bluegrass region. The city is conveniently located near Lexington, providing access to both rural tranquility and urban amenities.
Facility:
This regional medical center is a community-focused healthcare facility serving Winchester and surrounding areas. The facility features a 10-bed department and maintains a Level 0 trauma designation with Level 1 pediatric capabilities, providing comprehensive care to the local population.
Opportunity: Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
- Ongoing opportunity starting October 1, 2025
- Schedule: Call Only
- Call shifts are 8am to 8am
- Average of 5 patient encounters per shift
- Inpatient
- EMR: Medhost
- Skills required include low and high-risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I and II)
- Must be proficient in routine deliveries (vaginal and low forceps) and decision-making for c-sections
- Experience with complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions
- Ability to repair 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations
- Surgical gynecology skills required, including open procedures and major operative procedures
- Average of 550 deliveries per year
- Active KY license, BC with fellowship
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
