Locums | OB/GYN Hospitalist | Somerset, KY (KY or IMLC) Why This Role

  • Multiple openings (2), ongoing — locums-to-perm potential
  • Temp privileges available
Assignment Details Start/end: ASAP, ongoing Schedule: 24-hour shifts, hospitalist stays on the unit; in-house call, 30-min response, 1:6 ratio Coverage type: Call only, inpatient Volume: ~8 patients/shift; 8 phone consults, 12 seen, 3 admissions; ~900 deliveries/year; 23 beds Setting: Inpatient, stroke certified, admissions required; 2 ORs for C-sections and emergencies Support: 2 RNs, 1 MA EMR: MediTech Credentialing: ~60 days Clinical Details Required scope: Low- and high-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasounds (Level I and II), amniocentesis, routine and complicated delivery (vaginal, low forceps, C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBAC), 3rd/4th degree laceration repair, surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, operative/major) Rounds on assigned patients Requirements Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN License: KY or IMLC BLS, PALS Active DEA Drive-in candidates only (no airfare) Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
