Job description
Provide full-time in-house OB/GYN hospitalist coverage managing care for both private and non-private patients. Cover all areas of Postpartum, Antepartum, and Labor & Delivery with support from Level II and Level III NICUs and a 25+ bed ICU. Utilize the Epic EMR system and work in a collaborative, collegial environment. Ideal for OB/GYNs seeking flexible scheduling and a meaningful role.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide full-time, in-house OB/GYN hospitalist coverage

Manage care across Postpartum, Antepartum, and Labor & Delivery units

Collaborate with Level II and Level III NICUs and ICU teams

Average 3–4 deliveries and 13–15 patients per 24-hour shift

Participate in a call schedule with a 1:5 ratio

Use Epic EMR for documentation and communication
Qualifications:
-
Board Certified in OB/GYN (required)

Active California medical license (required)

Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification (required)

Minimum availability of 5–7 in-house shifts per month

Comfortable rounding in Postpartum, Antepartum, and Labor & Delivery

Experience working with Level 2 and Level 3 NICUs

Clean background with no malpractice history preferred
