Job Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour OB and GYN ED call coverage
Manage deliveries: Vaginal & C-Section
Perform inpatient gynecologic surgeries
Collaborate with onsite clinical team: dedicated MA + Practice Manager
EMR: Cerner
🏥 Role Snapshot:
Setting: Inpatient only
Shift Type: 24-hour call
Patients Per Day: 16–20
Monthly Deliveries: ~40
NICU: Not available on site
Average Callback Hours: 5–7
Qualifications
(Must hold active, unrestricted privileges at another Joint Commission-accredited hospital)
Active California Medical License – Required
Fellowship Trained in OB/GYN – Required
Certifications: BLS, DEA, NRP/PALS – Required for credentialing
Clean malpractice and background history
Local candidates strongly preferred (within driving distance – no flights)
