Locum Tenens OB/GYN – On-Call Coverage (Hospital Setting)
Location: Tiffin, Ohio
Type: Locum Tenens
Schedule: Ongoing, On-Call Coverage
Position Overview:
We are seeking one to two Board-Certified OB/GYN physicians to provide ongoing locum tenens on-call coverage in a hospital setting. This opportunity involves coverage for ER/GYN and Labor & Delivery. The ideal candidates will be comfortable handling both obstetric and gynecological procedures, including C-sections and a range of OB/GYN surgeries.
Job Responsibilities
10 LDRP beds
3 Postpartum beds
1 Triage bed
12-bed Normal Newborn Nursery (no NICU/Special Care Nursery)
EMR: EPIC
Staffing and Support:
2 OB/GYN Physicians
5 Certified Nurse Midwives
Case Mix & Volumes:
40%–50% Gynecology
1–4 GYN surgeries per day
15%–35% C-sections
2–5 nursery admissions per day
Average newborn census: 3–4/day
Pediatric census is minimal (0–1 every 2 months)
Qualifications
Active Ohio License (Required)
Will consider IMLC if available
Active DEA
ACLS and NRP certifications (Required)
COVID-19 vaccination (Preferred)
Flu vaccination required at time of credentialing
