Columbus, Ohio — OB/GYN Hospitalist Job
Availability & Schedule
- Full-time, in-house OB/GYN hospitalist across 3 hospital campuses (one site per day)
- 12-hour shifts covering days and nights
- Scheduled rotation includes weekends (2 shifts/month) — options include Friday night, Sunday morning, or other weekend shifts (not necessarily consecutive)
- Includes holiday coverage on a planned rotation schedule (3-year cycle)
- No alternate shift schedules accepted
- No Locum, Locum-to-Perm, 1099, or visa candidates
- Must have current, active Board Certification
- Candidates with lapsed Board Certification (requiring re-certification) not eligible
- Must be fully licensed and credentialed to practice in Ohio
- Competitive base salary
- Sign-on bonus: $35,000 to $40,000 (negotiable)

- Guaranteed Paid Time Off (PTO): 27 days (216 hours) annually, with ability to roll over up to 40 hours per year

- Work environment includes a Level III NICU and strong residency program affiliated with The Ohio State University
- Staff and supervise residents on Labor & Delivery (L&D)
- Perform gynecologic surgeries (including hysterectomy) and manage clinic patients
- Manage medically complex, high-risk pregnancies and perform advanced obstetrical surgeries
- Teach residents during clinical care and didactics
- Collaborate with Graduate Medical Education (GME) to improve education
- Engage with community and support care for underserved populations
