Facility:
The facility is part of a comprehensive health system featuring a Level 2 trauma center with 9 beds in Labor and Delivery. This progressive healthcare organization employs 8 physicians and 20 APPs, offering comprehensive women's health services with a commitment to high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
Opportunity: Board Certified - OB/GYN
Job Details:
- Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care with a 50/50 split between obstetrics and gynecology
- Manage both low and high-risk pregnancies
- Perform routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps procedures
- Handle complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions
- Conduct VBAC procedures and repair 3rd-4th degree lacerations
- Perform surgical gynecology procedures including open and laparoscopic techniques
- Provide office/minor gynecological procedures such as IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
- Collaborate with a team of 8 physicians and 20 APPs
- Work with supportive staff including dedicated medical assistants
- Document using Cerner/Oracle EMR system
- 24-hour call coverage schedule to be determined
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
