This facility is a regional hospital with a 6-bed OB/GYN department that serves the local community with quality maternal and women's health services. The hospital has a manageable patient volume of 2-3 patients per shift, allowing physicians to provide thorough and personalized care to each patient.
Opportunity: Board Certification Eligible - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
- Locum tenens position with estimated 5-day credentialing timeframe
- Low patient volume of 2-3 patients per shift allows for quality patient care
- Manageable workload in a 6-bed department
- Board certification eligible position (certification not required)
- Skills required: Low risk pregnancy management, Level I/Screening ultrasounds (viability), routine vaginal deliveries, and decision-making for c-sections
- Preferred skills include: high risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation, Level II ultrasounds, amniocentesis, complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions), repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology and surgical gynecology experience preferred
- Laser certification preferred but not required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
