Client is seeking a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens weekend call assignment in Bellefontaine, OH. This is a low-volume, off-site 24-hour call opportunity with an average of 1 delivery per day, ideal for providers looking to pick up a focused OB call shift without office visit responsibilities.
Assignment Details:

Location: Bellefontaine, Ohio

Call Type: 24-hour OB call (off-site, must be within 30 minutes of hospital)

Facility: 44-bed hospital with Family Birth Center

Nursery: Level I
-
Average Deliveries: 1 per day

C-section Rate: 21%

Support Staff: RNs, RTs, CRNAs, Anesthesiologist, on-site lab & ultrasound

EMR: Meditech Expanse
Required OB/GYN Procedures:

Low & high-risk pregnancy management
-
Level I OB ultrasound
-
Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)

Routine & complicated vaginal deliveries

Cesarean section, breech, multiples

Repair of 3rd & 4th-degree lacerations

Gynecologic surgery: laparoscopic, open, ectopic, cystectomy, LOAs
Requirements:

Board Certified/Truly Board Eligible OB/GYN – Required

Active OH License – Required

NRP Certification – Required

Clean malpractice history – Highly Preferred
Credentialing Timeline: Temporary privileges available in 2 weeks
