This regional hospital facility serves as an important healthcare provider for the Livingston community and surrounding areas. The facility features a 6-bed OB/GYN department and maintains a focus on quality patient care in a more intimate setting, allowing for personalized attention to patients.
Opportunity: Board Certification Eligible - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
- Low patient volume with only 2-3 patient encounters per shift
- Responsibilities include management of both low and high-risk pregnancies
- Must be comfortable with routine deliveries including vaginal births and decision-making for c-sections
- C-section and breech delivery experience required
- Experience with multiple births and abruptions preferred
- Ability to perform repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations preferred
- Office/minor gynecology procedures (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP) preferred
- Surgical gynecology skills preferred, including open procedures and laparoscopic procedures
- FHR interpretation and OB ultrasound skills (both screening and anatomic) preferred
- Amniocentesis experience preferred
- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 14 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
