Locum Tenens – OB/GYN Physician
Location: Damariscotta, Maine
Join a collaborative, mission-driven team in the scenic coastal town of Damariscotta, ME, providing essential GYN-focused coverage at a well-respected critical access hospital. Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN for ongoing locum tenens coverage.
📅 Assignment Details:

Primary Need: GYN-focused coverage due to strong existing OB support

Expected procedures include:

Endometrial ablations
-
IUD insertion/removal
-
Menopausal management
-
Failed medical management
-
Urinary incontinence care
-
-
You’ll be on 2nd call most days, occasionally covering clinic + call
-
Supportive environment with CNMs taking first call
-
Tight-knit team of OB/GYNs, FM/OBs, and CNMs
-
~120 births/year; OB call typically low acuity
-
Facility: 25-bed critical access hospital
📌 Job Requirements:

Board Certified in OB/GYN – Required

Active Maine license or IMLC – Preferred

Comfortable with full scope of routine GYN care and procedures – Required

Must list availability dates at time of submission
