Opportunity: Board Eligible - Obstetrics and Gynecology
This is a locum tenens position ideal for an OB/GYN physician looking for flexibility and diverse clinical experience in a community hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Average of 3-4 patient encounters per shift
- Must be board eligible at minimum
- BLS and PALS certification required
- Short 5-day credentialing timeframe
- Required skills include low risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation, routine vaginal delivery, and decision-making for c-sections
- C-section capabilities required
- Experience with multiple births required
- Preferred skills include high-risk pregnancy management, OB ultrasounds, amniocentesis, breech deliveries, VBACs, and various gynecological procedures
- Preference for experience with both minor gynecological procedures (IUD, Colposcopy, LEEP) and surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic)
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice insurance included.
