Job Responsibilities
• Perform and assist with inpatient/outpatient surgeries to include Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeries. Surgical treatment for urinary incontinence a plus.
• Provide care in office setting, inpatient/outpatient hospital setting, emergency room, inpatient consults, and labor and delivery.
• Rotate on call with Physicians and back up call for Certified Nurse Midwives. Physicians cover a 200-bed hospital with an ICU; Labor and Delivery with 8 labor rooms, 12 postpartum rooms and 4 antepartum rooms and 10 operating room suites.
Qualifications
• Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, or equivalent.
• Must have and maintain a current South Carolina Medical License, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) certificate and South Carolina Controlled Substance License.
• Must have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
