OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in South Carolina | 24 Hour Call Coverage | Urgent

Our client in South Carolina is seeking a board certified OB/GYN for 24-hour call coverage. They may ask for clinic coverage periodically.

Details for Assignment #106997:
-- Must be Board Certified OB/GYN
-- Must be licensed in South Carolina
-- South Carolina controlled substance and DEA required
-- Will be required to round on inpatients in the hospital daily (even on weekends)
-- Average number of inpatients rounded on per day = 1-3 patients
-- Average number of deliveries per day = 1-3
-- Must be comfortable with vaginal deliveries, as well as cesarean deliveries
-- ED consults for OBGYN patients as needed
--APP covers the clinic, but the locum may need to assist in clinic for complex or emergent cases.
--Daily inpatient rounding required, including weekends, with an average census of 1-3 patients per day.
--Average volume includes 1-3 deliveries per day and 2-4 NSTs/observations daily.
--Responsible for OB/GYN ED consults as needed.
--No inpatient midlevel support available.
--Patient population ranges from 15-70 years old
--Circumcisions are not required and are handled by Pediatrics
--Provider must be comfortable working independently in a rural setting.
