Position Overview
Tucson Medical Center (TMC), a non-profit community hospital in Tucson, Arizona, is seeking an additional OB Hospitalist to join our collaborative, high-volume team. TMC leads Southern Arizona with approximately 5,500 deliveries annually and offers a robust clinical environment with comprehensive on-site specialty support.

Job Responsibilities
Physician coverage for CNM patients
OB triage services
Surgical assists
Fetal monitoring, labor management, and delivery coverage
Support for community physicians
Participation in teaching opportunities with:
University of Arizona OB residents
Mayo Clinic medical students
Qualifications
Active Arizona medical license (required)
Comfortable working in a high‑volume OB environment
Experience with or interest in academic/teaching settings preferred
Working Hours
12‑hour and 24‑hour shift options available
Differential pay for night shifts
On-site support includes:
Affiliated MFM group
In-house Anesthesia
Neonatology
Gynecologic Oncology
Facilities include:
14 LDRP rooms
3 Cesarean section rooms
8‑bed OB triage unit
14‑bed antepartum unit
40‑bed Level III NICU
Skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Sound clinical judgment in acute and emergent OB situations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
