OB Hospitalist Physician | No Call | Des Moines, Iowa

Join an established OB Hospitalist program focused entirely on inpatient obstetric care, with no clinic responsibilities or call coverage.

Position Highlights

• Inpatient OB Focus: Manage OBED patients, unassigned emergent cases, vaginal deliveries, C sections, and GYN procedures.
• High Volume Program: Support approximately 3,000 deliveries annually, with a dedicated OBED seeing approximately 1,400 visits each year.
• Hospital Resources: Practice within a hospital featuring a Level III NICU, multiple labor suites, and comprehensive postpartum support.
• Subspecialty Support: Work with MFM specialists and a dedicated maternal transport team.
• Shift Based Model: Practice entirely through scheduled shifts with no call responsibilities.
• Annual Schedule: Work approximately 78 24 hour in house shifts per year.

Candidate Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology physician
• Comfortable managing OBED patients, deliveries, and surgical cases
• Open to experienced physicians and new graduates
• J 1 and H 1B visa sponsorship available
