A hospital employed community-based practice in Hartford County is currently seeking a licensed OB/GYN for a promising position with their growing team.

About the Opportunity

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: Standard business
  • Setting: Outpatient except when on call
  • Call: 1:4 Days, 1:5 Weekends

Responsibilities:

The OB/GYN will

  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records
  • Review patient's history and perform physical examination
  • Care for and treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods
  • Treat diseases of female organ
  • Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
  • Perform cesarean sections or other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patients' health and deliver babies safely

Qualifications:

  • Current unrestricted CT medical license
  • Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN (MD/DO)
  • DEA / BLS / ACLS
