Responsibilities

- MyMichigan Hospital - Sault Ste. Marie, MI
General Description:
- ObGyn call coverage needed for two weekends per month. Call not in-house. Progressive OB unit doing around 340 deliveries per year. On call for ED, OB unit and managing any inpatients.
- Great community in northern Michigan
- Hospital has 49 beds with 9 OB beds
Dates of Coverage:
- July 7-9
- July 14-16
- Aug 18-20
- Aug 25-27
- Sept 15-17
- Sept 22-24 or Sept 29-Oct 1
Schedule:
- 7am Friday through 7 am Monday
EMR and Dictation Tools:
- Meditech
Required experience, training, and certifications:
- BC or BE
Licensing
- Active MI license and DEA OR an IMLC Letter of Qualification
Credentialing Timeframe:
- Typically 30 days, but applications are prioritized according to start date
General MyMichigan Health Credentialing Requirements
- All Medical Schools must be on the California Approved List
- All Residencies & Fellowships must be ACGME Approved
- No large malpractice issues
- Clean NPDB
- Three professional references that have worked with the provider within 18 months
- Case/patient logs to show 50 deliveries and 25 GYN procedures within 12 months
