  • Bakersfield, CA: located 115 miles from Los Angeles
Position Details - Academic Appointment with UCLA - 24-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Inpatient 28-bed Pediatric Unit - High Risk Pregnancy Program - Specialty Physician Clinics including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Urogynecology & Genetics - Faculty are responsible for teaching, administration, and clinical services Call Schedule: Weeknight call - Est 3 calls per rotation; 39 per year Weekend/Holiday call - 1 weekend shift per month; 13 per year Backup call when called to hospital - Est 3 times per year Position Requirements - Board Eligible/Certified Required - Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology Required - Fellowship welcomed but not required Benefits Details - Full-time, Employed position - Loan Forgiveness opportunities - Competitive Salary, based on MGMA National Data - Junior Faculty compensation range from $456,000-$496,100, not including the starting bonus, additional clinics or additional call - Experienced Faculty compensation range from $496,100, not including the starting bonus, additional clinics, additional call or leadership roles - Malpractice and tail coverage provided - Starting bonus and relocation reimbursement - Vacation, sick, Holiday, CME time, CME reimbursement - Health Benefits and a Defined Contribution Plan - Voluntary Benefits include, 457B Plan, Short-term & Long-term Disability, Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts, etc. Facility Highlights - Level II Trauma Center; Over 3,000 Trauma activation's annually - Certified Stroke Center - Tertiary Center - Master Affiliation with UCLA - Four Residency Programs & three Fellowship Programs
