Job description Locums OB/GYN - Central Washington

*Overview: Seeking a compassionate OB Provider who is ready for the opportunity to make an impact on a diverse population in Central Washington State. This provider would be working with Certified Nurse Midwives to provide general OB/GYN and unique care for the surrounding community in Toppenish, WA including members of the Yakama Nation. The assignment consists of at least 20 call days/month and 3 clinical days during the week rotating between 3 locations. Must be prepared to cover surgery.
*Length: min. commitment of 2 months (can be extended)

*Job Detail: Non-profit facility; 63-bed community hospital; unique population of Yakama Nation, and other diverse communities
*Clinical Services Provided:
Full complement of inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital’s medical services include a 24-hour Emergency Department and Level IV Trauma Services, Intensive Care Unit, 24/7 Inpatient Physicians (Hospitalists), a Family Maternity Center, Inpatient and Outpatient General, OB/GYN and Orthopedic Surgical Services, Inpatient Medical Withdrawal Management Program, an Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, a Level 2 Stroke Center, as well as Cardiac Care and a Level 2 Cardiac Center. Also provided are advanced diagnostics including CT, MRI and ECHO cardiography and a full-service laboratory.

As an added complement to the medical services available, a Native American Spiritual Center provides a place for Native Americans of all faiths to practice the healing rituals and ceremonies important in their beliefs.

  • Board-certified in obstetrics
  • Unrestricted WA state license and DEA highly encouraged, but will work with those looking to license in the state
