Nuclear Medicine Radiologist locum tenens opportunity in Marquette, Michigan, offering hospital-based coverage for a board-certified radiologist with experience in diagnostic radiology, vascular imaging, and interventional procedures.   • Case Volume: Approximately 5-20 patient encounters per shift
  • Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days
  • Board Certification: Board certified physician required
  • Certification: ACLS required
  • Setting: On-site, hospital-based practice

Job Requirements

  • Active MD or DO licensure with board certification in Radiology or a related subspecialty
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred in nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology, or interventional radiology procedures
  • Experience with vascular and interventional radiology procedures strongly preferred
  • Ability to read vascular ultrasound highly preferred
  • ACLS certification required
  • Comfort working in a Level II trauma setting
  • Fellowship training preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform bread-and-butter interventional radiology procedures, including biopsies, dialysis access, and drain placement
  • Provide vascular procedures such as peripheral vascular thrombectomy and venous or arterial thrombolysis
  • Interpret imaging studies and support patient care within a collaborative radiology team
  • Deliver efficient, high-quality radiology coverage with strong clinical judgment
  • Support patient-centered care in a busy hospital environment
