Job description
Nocturnist Opportunity Location: Wheeling, WV • Position: Full-Time Nocturnist • Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with diseases and injuries involving the internal organ systems. • Establish and promote appropriate preventive health practices for patients. • Work in a collaborative inpatient setting serving patients throughout Wheeling and the surrounding region. Qualifications • MD or DO degree, or foreign equivalent • Completion of a Residency Program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine • Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine • Eligible to obtain a West Virginia Medical License • All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment Practice & Community Highlights • Established healthcare system with a strong reputation for patient safety and quality • Large regional healthcare network serving patients throughout West Virginia and surrounding areas • Medical staff includes more than 1,000 physicians and advanced providers • Comprehensive hospital services including: o Emergency and Level II Trauma Center o Surgical services o Pediatrics o Women’s services o Comprehensive cancer care o Cardiac catheterization services o Stroke care o STEMI and Chest Pain Center • Long-standing healthcare presence in the Wheeling community and surrounding Northern Panhandle of West Virginia and Eastern Ohio
